Fernanda Carolina da Silva

Currently working at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil (PhD candidate Ecology - 2019-2023). My main interest is understanding how global changes impact functional diversity in coral reef fishes. I use multivariate statistical analysis including trait measures as indicators for the status of the communities on a temporal scale. Overall, the focus of my work is to explore potential drivers of the temporal trend communities by using linear and non-linear models combined with satellite data such as sea surface temperature, decadal oscillations, and temperature anomalies.
