Mariana Terra Moreira

Mariana Terra is an assistant professor at the Center of Culture, Languages ​​and Applied Technologies of the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia - CECULT / UFRB. PhD student at the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts at UFBA. Coordinated the Working Group "Expanded Artistic Practices" at the 1st International Meeting of Culture, Languages ​​and Applied Technologies - ENICECULT / UFRB in 2017. She chaired the creation committee of the Higher Course in Technology "Arts of the Spectacle" opened at UFRB in 2019. She was a substitute teacher at UFBA Theater School (level 1 assistant) in 2013/2014. Owns a Master by PPGAC / UFBA with the research "'Pra Ver Pouquinho': Reconsiderations on the Look and the Universe of Scenic Lighting", under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ciane Fernandes. Graduated (2008) in Bachelor of Performing Arts from UFRGS Integrates the Research Group "Performance as Research" of the International Federation of Theatrical Research (IFTR) She is a member of the A-Feto Dance-Theater Collective in Salvador / BA. In the artistic trajectory, she is co-creator and director of FRUTA meditation performance (2014 - present). Conducted the somatic-performative lighting project of Cristal, directed by Ciane Fernandes, within the Vesica Piscis / Laban in Flux Project (2016) and presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art of São Paulo. Her current research into art and light is darkness, and blackout themes. She works on the links of light-based art, durational performances, and installation environments. In the technical arts, she performs creation, rigging, operation and performance of lighting and scenic ambiance, in spaces and unconventional artistic activities.

Mariana Terra é professora assistente do Centro de Cultura, Linguagens e Tecnologias Aplicadas da Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia - CECULT / UFRB. Doutoranda pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Cênicas da UFBA. Coordenou o GT "Práticas Artísticas Expandidas" no I Encontro Internacional de Cultura, Linguagens e Tecnologias Aplicadas - ENICECULT/UFRB em 2017. Presidiu a comissão de criação do curso Superior em Tecnologia "Artes do Espetáculo" inaugurado na UFRB em 2019. Foi professora substituta na Escola de Teatro da UFBA (auxiliar nível 1) em 2013 / 2014. Mestre pelo PPGAC / UFBA com a pesquisa "'Pra Ver Pouquinho': Reconsiderações sobre o Olhar e o Universo da Iluminação Cênica", sob a orientação da Profa. Dra. Ciane Fernandes. Graduou-se (2008) em Licenciatura em Artes Cênicas pela UFRGS. Integra o Grupo de Pesquisa "Performance as Research" da Federação Internacional de Pesquisa Teatral (IFTR). É integrante do Coletivo A-Feto de dança-teatro, em Salvador / BA. Na trajetória artística, é co-criadora e diretora da performance de meditação FRUTA (2014 ? presente). Realizou o projeto de iluminação somático-performativa da obra Cristal, dirigida por Ciane Fernandes, dentro do Projeto Vesica Piscis/Laban em Fluxo (2016) e apresentada no Museu de Arte Contemporânea de São Paulo. Sua atual investigação em arte e luz, liga-se ao escuro, e temas associados ao blackout. Trabalha nos elos da arte baseada na luz, performances duracionais e ambientes instalativos.
