Dio Pablo Alexandrino de Mattos

Graduated in Biological Sciences (degree course) from UNIGRANRIO and specialized in Neurosciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). At the age of 27, he holds a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences (Biophysics) from the Neurobiology Program at the Institute of Biophysics at UFRJ (IBCCF) and is pursuing his Doctorate in Sciences (Neurobiology) at the same institute, dedicating himself to experimentally investigating gene and targeted pharmacological therapies to the Endocannabinoid System for the treatment of glaucoma. He is currently a member of the research and teaching group "TimeCannabis", doing communication and scientific dissemination about medicine with cannabinoids, and a content reviewer for the "Young Scientist Channel" for science dissemination. Approved in the selection process for Substitute Professor at UFRJ in Physiology and Biophysics (Neurophysiology) - public notice n. 844, of December 7, 2022. Taught 38 hours of Neurophysiology classes and 15 hours of Neuroeducation classes for Physical Education, Biophysics, and Dentistry courses at UFRJ between 2021 and 2023.

Um tio muito entusiasmado com as Ciências da Natureza. Graduado em Ciências Biológicas (Licenciatura) pela UNIGRANRIO e especialista em Neurociências pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Aos 27 anos, é Mestre em Ciências Biológicas (Biofísica) pelo Programa de Neurobiologia do Instituto de Biofísica da UFRJ (IBCCF) e realiza seu Doutoramento em Ciências (Neurobiologia) no mesmo instituto, dedicando a investigar experimentalmente a manipulação do Sistema Endocanabinoide para o tratamento do glaucoma. Atualmente é membro do grupo de pesquisa e ensino "TimeCannabis", fazendo comunicação e divulgação científica a respeito da medicina com canabinoides, e revisor de conteúdo do "Canal Jovem Cientista" para divulgação de ciências.
