Nominated Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant Award by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences of the University of Kansas in 2021. Winner of Best Graduate Teaching Assistant Award by Philosophy Department University of Kansas 2020. I am an assistant professor at GRUPO UNIEDUK, Brazil. PhD by the Philosophy Department of the UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS, under supervision of Dale Dorsey. I was a FULBRIGHT scholar from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, I was a visiting graduate student at the UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN, Ann Arbor. I have an MA in philosophy from UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO RIO DE JANEIRO 2010, and degrees in philosophy 2007 and history 2005 by UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE OURO PRETO. In the summers of 2008 and 2009, I was the administrative coordinator of the academic program Legal and Policy Study in Rio de Janeiro by the Center for the Comparative Study of Metropolitan Growth, GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY College of Law. My research interests are in political philosophy, normative ethics, metaethics, practical reason, philosophy of law, and history of economic thought.
