Adriano Teixeira Pereira

Graduated in Infantry Officer from the Military Academy of Agulhas Negras (2000), graduated in Physical Education from the Brazilian Army Physical Education School (2004) and doctorate in Food, Nutrition and Health from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2020). He is currently a researcher at the Brazilian Army Research Institute of Physical Fitness, working in the field of molecular biology, particularly in the post-transcriptional regulation of micro RNAs, related to skeletal muscle (myomirs) and in the area of prevention and monitoring of rhabdomyolysis induced by physical effort and by the heat.

Possui graduação em Oficial de Infantaria pela Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (2000), graduação em Educação Física pela Escola de Educação Física do Exército (2004) e doutorado em Alimentação, Nutrição e Saúde pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2020). Atualmente é pesquisador do Instituto de Pesquisa da Capacitação Física do Exército, atuando na área da biologia molecular, particularmente na regulação pós transcricional dos micro RNAs, relacionados ao músculo esquelético (myomirs) e na área da prevenção e monitoramento da rabdomiólise induzida pelo esforço físico e pelo calor.
