Doutorando (bolsista CAPES) no Programa de Pós-graduação em Design da Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (PPGD-UEMG), na linha de pesquisa 'Cultura, gestão e processos em Design', com projeto em memória gráfica. É mestre em design pela mesma instituição, com dissertação sobre o processo criativo de capas ilustradas de livros de ficção destinados ao público adulto (bolsista CAPES). É integrante do grupo de pesquisa 'Centro de Estudos em Teoria, Cultura e Pesquisa em Design' (CT Design-UEMG) desde 2018. Possui graduação em Design pela Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB, 2017) com período sanduíche na Irlanda (2014-2015), realizado em parceria com o 'Instituto de Arte, Design e Tecnologia' (IADT-Dun Laoghaire), onde estudou Visual Communication. Mantém projeto pessoal intitulado PEXAFEMA, com marca registrada junto ao INPI, voltado para a produção de ilustrações e artefatos gráficos. Realiza estudos sobre ilustração, linguagem visual, design editorial, design ativismo, memória gráfica e história do design. Atualmente é representante discente do doutorado no colegiado do PPGD/UEMG.
PhD student (CAPES scholarship holder) in the Graduate Program in Design at the State University of Minas Gerais (PPGD-UEMG), in the research line 'Culture, management and processes in Design', with a project in graphic memory. He holds a master's degree in design from the same institution, with a dissertation on the creative process of illustrated covers of fiction books aimed at an adult audience (CAPES fellow). He is a member of the research group 'Center for Studies in Theory, Culture and Research in Design' (CT Design-UEMG) since 2018. Graduated in Design from the State University of Bahia (UNEB, 2017) with a sandwich period in Ireland (2014 -2015), carried out in partnership with the 'Institute of Art, Design and Technology' (IADT-Dun Laoghaire), where he studied Visual Communication. He maintains a personal project entitled PEXAFEMA, with a registered trademark with the INPI, focused on the production of illustrations and graphic artifacts. Conducts studies on illustration, visual language, editorial design, design activism, graphic memory and design history. He is currently a doctoral student representative on the PPGD/UEMG collegiate.
