Rosana Maria Tristão

Rosana Maria Tristão has a postdoctoral degree in Neurosciences Applied to the Study of Pain, Stress and Sleep in Newborn by the University of Oxford, Department of Paediatric, England; was a visiting researcher at Babylab, Birkbeck College, England; PhD and Master?s in psychology (Neuroscience / Psychobiology) from the University of Brasília (1995 and 2001); Specialist in Neuropsychology by Brazilian Federal Counsel of Psychology; Graduated in Psychology from the University of Brasília (1986). She holds a credential from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, as a trainer and evaluator at the CIF - International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health of the World Health Organization. Currently, she is a full-time Researcher and Professor at the Postgraduate Program in Medical Sciences of the Faculty of Medicine and Professor in the course of Graduation in Medicine of the University of Brasília, Development and Growth Area, Faculty of Medicine. She is a consultant member of the Ethical Committee of the same Faculty.She is also a Guest Lecturer of the Master Program in Cognitive Science at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany. She is the leader of the Research Group of the National Research Council (CNPq): Studies in Neurobehavioral Development of Children and Adolescents. Since 1998 Rosana has delivered lectures in different countries including major universities or scientific meetings in the UK and Ireland, USA, Russia, Japan, France, Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Argentina, Canada, Israel, Australia and Italy. These include invited talks at colloquia or major national and international symposia and named keynote lectures.

Rosana Maria Tristão é pós-doutora em Neurociências Aplicadas ao Estudo da Dor, Estresse e Sono no Recém-Nascido pela Universidade de Oxford, Departamento de Pediatria, Inglaterra; foi pesquisador visitante no Babylab, Birkbeck College, Inglaterra; Doutor e Mestre em Psicologia (Neurociências/Psicobiologia) pela Universidade de Brasília (1995 e 2001); Especialista em Neuropsicologia pelo Conselho Federal de Psicologia; Graduada em Psicologia pela Universidade de Brasília (1986). É credenciada pela Universidade de São Paulo, Brasil, como instrutora e avaliadora da CIF - Classificação Internacional de Funcionalidade, Incapacidade e Saúde da Organização Mundial da Saúde. Atualmente é Pesquisadora em tempo integral e Professora do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Médicas da Faculdade de Medicina e Professora do Curso de Graduação em Medicina da Universidade de Brasília, Área de Desenvolvimento e Crescimento da Faculdade de Medicina. É membro consultor da Comissão de Ética da mesma Faculdade. É também Professora Convidada do Programa de Mestrado em Ciências Cognitivas da Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Alemanha. É líder do Grupo de Pesquisa do Conselho Nacional de Pesquisas (CNPq): Estudos em Desenvolvimento Neurocomportamental de Crianças e Adolescentes. Desde 1998, Rosana tem ministrado palestras em diferentes países, incluindo grandes universidades ou reuniões científicas no Reino Unido e Irlanda, EUA, Rússia, Japão, França, Alemanha, Brasil, Turquia, Argentina, Canadá, Israel, Austrália e Itália. Isso inclui palestras convidadas em colóquios ou importantes simpósios nacionais e internacionais e palestras principais nomeadas.
