Victor Hugo Souza de Abreu

Doutor e Mestre em Engenharia de Transportes pelo Instituto Alberto Luiz Coimbra de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa de Engenharia da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ). Pós-graduado em Meio Ambiente e Graduado em Engenharia Civil, com Ênfase em Engenharia de Transportes, pela UFRJ. Atualmente, é Professor dos Cursos de Pós-graduação executiva em Meio Ambiente e em Petróleo e Gás, com ênfase em transição energética, da COPPE/UFRJ e Pesquisador do Painel Brasileiro de Mudanças Climáticas (PBMC) e do Fundo Verde da UFRJ. Além disso, é consultor do Projeto H2 Verde Brasil da Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) e do Projeto de Assessoramento Técnico Especializado em Engenharia de Transportes para a Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz). Prestou apoio pedagógico às Disciplinas de Transporte Urbano na Graduação em Engenharia Civil da UFRJ e Simulação em Transportes no Mestrado em Engenharia de Transportes da COPPE/UFRJ. Além do mais, trabalhou no Plano Nacional de Contagem de Tráfego (PNCT) do Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT) e no Clima por Inteiro, área Transporte de Carga e Logística, do Instituto Talanoa. Autor de 83 publicações técnico-científicas, sendo 21 em revistas indexadas (incluindo 6 publicações em revistas científicas com índices JCR/Qualis A1 ou A2), 3 livros nacionais e 12 capítulos de livros (incluindo 7 capítulos internacionais da Springer).

PhD and MSc in Transportation Engineering from the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Graduate Studies and Engineering Research of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ). Post-graduated in Environment and Graduated in Civil Engineering, with Emphasis in Transportation Engineering, by UFRJ. He is currently a Professor of the Executive Postgraduate Courses in Environment and Oil and Gas, with emphasis on energy transition, at COPPE/UFRJ and Researcher at the Brazilian Panel on Climate Change (PBMC) and the Green Fund of UFRJ. In addition, he is a consultant for the H2 Green Brazil Project of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Specialized Technical Advisory Project in Transport Engineering for the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz). He provided pedagogical support to the Urban Transportation Disciplines in the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program at UFRJ and Transportation Simulation in the Master's Degree in Transportation Engineering at COPPE/UFRJ. In addition, he worked on the National Traffic Counting Plan (PNCT) of the National Department of Transport Infrastructure (DNIT) and on the Climate by Whole, area Cargo Transportation and Logistics, of the Talanoa Institute. Author of 83 technical-scientific publications, 21 in indexed journals (including 6 publications in scientific journals with JCR/Qualis A1 or A2 indexes), 3 national books and 12 book chapters (including 7 international chapters from Springer).
