He holds a degree (1974) and a master's degree in History from the Federal University of Goiás (1981), and a doctorate in Education from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP 2002). Adjunct Professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás. Member of the PPGE/PUC Goiás, in the State, Policies and Educational Institutions Research line. Researcher of the Research Group registered with CNPQ, Educational Policies and School Management (Site: htpp://gppege.org.br) and of the Research Network registered with FAPEG, State, Institutions and Educational Policies. She develops the project BEING IN THE WORLD AS A WORKER / A, WOMAN, TEACHER: HISTORICAL CONFIGURATION AND ACHIEVEMENT IN EDUCATIONAL POLICIES AND IN LICENSE COURSES AT PUC GOIÁS, IN FLEXIBLE PRODUCTION TIMES. She has experience in the field of History, with an emphasis on Women's Rights, working mainly on the following topics: education and work, women, gender, women's history, public policies and teacher training. She was a member of the Truth Commission of the National Confederation of Workers in Educational Establishments / CONTEE, and an effective member of the National Council for Women's Rights until 2017, representing the Brazilian Union of Women. She is currently Sinpro Union Delegate at PUC Goiás and participates in the Communications Committee of the Association of Professors of the Catholic University of Goiás. She is a member of the National Coordination of the Brazilian Union of Women, of the PCdoB National Women's Forum and of its coordination. She is a member of the PCdoB Central Committee, elected in 2021.

Desenvolve o projeto ESTAR NO MUNDO COMO TRABALHADOR/A, MULHER, PROFESSORA: CONFIGURAÇÃO HISTÓRICA E REALIZAÇÃO NAS POLÍTICAS EDUCACIONAIS, E NOS CURSOS DE LICENCIATURA NA PUC GOIÁS, EM TEMPOS DE PRODUÇÃO FLEXÍVEL. Tem experiência na área de História, com ênfase em Direitos da Mulher, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação e trabalho, mulher, gênero, história das mulheres, políticas públicas e formação de professores. Foi membro da Comissão da Verdade da Confederação Nacional de Trabalhadores em Estabelecimentos de Ensino/CONTEE, e Membro efetivo do Conselho Nacional dos Direitos da Mulher até 2017, representando a União Brasileira de Mulheres. Atualmente é Delegada Sindical do SINPRO na PUC Goiás e participa da comissão de Comunicação da Associação dos Professores da Universidade católica de Goiás. É Diretora do Centro Popular da Mulher/UBM-Goiás, do Fórum Nacional de Mulheres do PCdoB e de sua coordenação. É membro do Comitê Central do PCdoB, eleita em 2021.
