Gabriel Humberto Muñoz Palafox

Degree in Physical Education from the School of Physical Education - ESEF of Mexico (1977-1980), Master in Supervision and Curriculum (1989) and PhD in Education and Curriculum (2001), both from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. He is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia - UFU, housed at the Faculty of Physical Education - FAEFI and permanent professor, member of the Education Policy and Management line of the Graduate Program in Education of the Faculty of Education of UFU. Acts in the areas of public policies of Education; continuing education of elementary school teachers, and Methodology and Planning of Education, School Physical Education and Popular Education. He was a founding member of the Center for Studies on Planning and Methodologies of Body Culture - NEPECC of FAEFI / UFU. Advises entities and social movements in the area of #8203;#8203;public policy planning. He was pró-Dean of Extension, Culture and Student Affairs at UFU during the 2001-2004 and 2005-2008 administrations and General Coordinator of the Incubation Center for Solidary Popular Enterprises - CIEPS / UFU during the period 2008-2012. From 2004 to 2018 she worked in the process of implementation and development of popular enterprises in the context of Solidarity Economy in Uberlândia and region. Coordinated the Extension Program in articulation with research and teaching of Environmental Quality development in family farming settlements (2015-2018), as well as coordinated extension projects in the areas of futsal and soccer for children, youth and adults, in partnership with civil society entities of Uberlândia (2017-2018). Postdoctoral student at the Center for Social Studies, University of Coimbra, Portugal (2019).

Licenciado em Educação Física pela Escola Superior de Educação Física - ESEF do México (1977-1980), Mestre em Supervisão e Currículo (1989) e Doutor em Educação e Currículo (2001), ambos pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Pós-doutor pelo Centro de Estudos Sociais da Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal (2019).É Professor Titular da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU, lotado na Faculdade de Educação Física - FAEFI e professor permanente, membro da linha de Políticas e Gestão da Educação do Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação da Faculdade de Educação da UFU. Atua nas áreas de: Planejamento e Metodologias do ensino da Educação Física Escolar; Metodologia do Ensino da Educação Popular; Formação Continuada de Professores/as; Políticas Curriculares e Políticas Públicas e Gestão da Educação. Foi membro fundador do Núcleo de Estudos em Planejamento e Metodologias da Cultura Corporal - NEPECC da FAEFI/UFU, hoje denominado nos grupos Lattes/CNPq como LABORATÓRIO DE FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE E PRODUÇÃO DE CONHECIMENTO EM EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA E INCLUSÃO - LAFEFI. Assessora entidades e movimentos sociais na área planejamento de políticas públicas. Foi Pró-reitor de Extensão, Cultura e Assuntos Estudantis da UFU nas gestões 2001-2004 e 2005-2008. Foi membro fundador e coordenador Geral do Centro de Incubação de Empreendimentos Populares Solidários - CIEPS/UFU no período 2008-2012. Entre 2004 e 2018 atuou no processo de implantação e desenvolvimento de empreendimentos populares no contexto da Economia Solidária em Uberlândia e região. Coordenou o Programa de extensão em articulação com pesquisa e ensino de desenvolvimento da Qualidade Ambiental em assentamentos da agricultura familiar (2015-2018). Desde 2017 coordena projetos de extensão nas áreas de futsal e futebol de base (crianças, jovens) em parceria com entidades das sociedade civil de Uberlândia.
