Professor Associado do Departamento de Ciência do Solo da Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz (ESALQ/USP), na área de Adubos e Adubação. Engenheiro Agrônomo (ESALQ/USP, F2005), Mestre (ESALQ/USP, 2008) e Doutor (ESALQ/USP, 2012) em ciência do solo. Realizou estagio de doutorado na Universidade de Illinois. Fez pós-doutorado no CENA/USP (2013). Orienta alunos em nível de Mestrado, Doutorado e Pós-Doutorado. Orientador do GAPE (Grupo de Apoio à Pesquisa e Extensão). Coordenador Científico do Programa Cooperativo de Experimentação e Manejo (PCEM) e membro da Comissão de Cultura e Extensão da ESALQ. Minha linha de pesquisa inclui desenvolvimento de fertilizantes nitrogenados com adição de micronutrientes e nanomateriais, manejo de fertilizantes nitrogenados para produção de bioenergia e nanomateriais para nutrição de plantas. Professor of Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition of the Department of Soil Science at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, from University of Sao Paulo. Agronomist, Master and PhD degrees obtained from ESALQ/USP, with a visiting period at the University of Illinois working with Prof. Richard L. Mulvaney. Obtained a post-doctoral degree from Center for Nuclear and Energy in Agriculture. Teach the course Fertilizers and Fertilization in the undergraduate and graduate courses, and advise students in the master, PhD and Post-doc levels. Supervisor of the Research and Extension Support Team (GAPE) and scientific coordinator of the Cooperative Program of Research and Management (PCEM) inside sugarcane bioenergy units. My research interest includes development of nitrogen fertilizers with addition of micronutrients and nanomaterials, nitrogen management for sugarcane production, and the usage of nanomaterials for plant nutrition.
