Alexandre Alves

Bacharel em Física pelo Instituto de Física da USP (1997), mestre em Física de Partículas Elementares pela Fundação Instituto de Física Teórica (2000) e doutor em Física de Partículas Elementares pela Fundação Instituto de Física Teórica (2004). Atualmente é Professor Associado III da Universidade Federal de São Paulo, UNIFESP, Diadema, membro do Advanced Institute for Artificial Intelligence e orientador externo do IF-USP. Atua na área de fenomenologia de partículas elementares com ênfase na procura de física além do Modelo Padrão, matéria escura, Princípio de Máxima Entropia e aplicações de inteligência artificial em fenomenologia de partículas.

Bachelor of Physics from the Physics Institute of USP (1997), Master of Physics from Elementary Particles from the Foundation Institute of Theoretical Physics (2000) and PhD in Physics from Elementary Particles from the Foundation Institute of Theoretical Physics (2004). He is currently Associate Professor III in the Federal University of São Paulo, UNIFESP, Diadema, member of the Advanced Institute for Artificial Intelligence and temporary advisor at IF-USP. Operates in the area of elementary particle phenomenology with an emphasis on the search for physics beyond the Standard Model, dark matter, Maximum Entropy Principle and applications of artificial intelligence in particle phenomenology.
