José Quibao Neto

Formado em Letras pela Universidade de São Paulo, mestre e doutor em educação pela mesma Universidade, atuou como professor de Língua Portuguesa em escolas públicas e privadas e como docente em curso de graduação em Pedagogia no Centro Universitário Eniac. Como experiência internacional concluiu um mestrado no Departamento de Educação da Universidade de Oxford e foi Pesquisador Visitante no Instituto de Educação da University College London (UCL). Suas pesquisas concentram-se no campo do financiamento da educação no Brasil e condição do trabalho docente no setor público e no setor privado da educação básica e Ensino Superior. Além disso, como pesquisador associado, integra o Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Política Educacional (GREPPE/UNICAMP) e a Rede de Latino Americana e Africana de Pesquisadores em Privatização da Educação (Relaappe).

Jose graduated in Linguistics and Portuguese Language and Literature from the University of São Paulo. He finished his Master's and Doctor in Philosophy at the same University. He worked as a Portuguese Language teacher in public and private schools and as a teacher in an undergraduate course in Pedagogy at the Eniac University Center. As an international experience, he completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree at the Department of Education (Research Design and Methodology) at the University of Oxford, and he was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of Education at the University College London (UCL). His research focuses on education financing in Brazil, also the condition of teaching work in the public and private sectors of basic education and higher education. In addition, as an associate researcher, he is a member of the Educational Policy Studies and Research Group (GREPPE/UNICAMP) and the Latin American and African Network of Researchers in Education Privatization (Relaappe).
