Marcio Andre Facin

Master in Environmental Education at the Federal University of Rio Grande (2013), Specialist in Environmental Law at the Federal University of Pelotas (2003), Bachelor of Law at the Catholic University of Pelotas (2002) and Military Brigade Officer at the State Military Police Academy from Rio Grande do Sul (1995). He currently occupies the post of Lieutenant Colonel, being in charge of the 4th Military Police Battalion, which is headquartered in the city of Pelotas and is a professor of the Public Safety Technology course at the Catholic University of Pelotas. In addition, the role of Regional Coordinator of Civil Protection and Protection (2011-2014) and Commander of the Environmental Policing Company (2001-2011), both in the southern and central southern regions of the state, is noteworthy.

Mestre em Educação Ambiental na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (2013), especialista em Direito Ambiental pela Universidade Federal de Pelotas (2003), bacharel em Direito pela Universidade Católica de Pelotas (2002) e Oficial da Brigada Militar pela Academia de Polícia Militar do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (1995). Atualmente ocupa o posto de Tenente Coronel, estando na Coordenação Regional de Proteção e Defesa Civil, ao qual tem sede no município de Pelotas, sendo professor do Curso de Tecnologia em Segurança Pública da Universidade Católica de Pelotas. Além disso, destacam-se as funções desempenhadas como Subcomandante e Comandante do 4º Batalhão de Polícia Militar, sediado em Pelotas (2017 à 2021), Coordenador Regional de Proteção e Defesa Civil (2011-2014) e Comandante da Companhia de Policiamento Ambiental (2001-2011), todas nas regiões sul do estado do Rio Grande do Sul.
