Professor Titular da Universidade Federal da Paraíba, Associado III, graduado em Ciências Biológicas (Título Bacharelado/Licenciatura) pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba, Mestre em Ciências Biológicas, área de concentração Biotecnologia (genética médica), pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) e Doutor pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação RENORBIO, área de concentração Biotecnologia de Produtos Naturais, pela Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE). Possui experiência teórica e prática nas áreas: Biologia Celular e Molecular e Microbiologia Aplicada. Atua na produção de bioprodutos fúngicos, principalmente a quitosana, para uso na área médica e agrícola. Na área de Educação, participa do Programa de Mestrado Profissional PROFBIO, como professora efetiva. Trabalha com ferramentas de ensino que direcionam um aprendizado mais significativo e duradouro por meio de metodologias ativas.

She has theoretical and practical experience in the areas: Cellular and Molecular Biology and Applied Microbiology. It works with the production of fungal bioproducts, especially chitosan, for use in the medical and agricultural areas. In the area of Education, she participates in the Professional Master's Program PROFBIO, as effective member. Works with teaching Tools that direct a more meaningful and lasting learning through active methodologies.
