Cecilia de Menezes Sobreira Cunha

Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Regional do Cariri (2010) e mestrado em História da Ciência pela pela Casa de Oswaldo Cruz - Fiocruz (2013). Professora de História EBTT desde 2016, atualmente atuando no IFP, campus Avaré. Além de História para educação integrada, leciona a disciplina de História da Ciência no curso de Licenciatura em Letras Português/Espanhol. onde atua na área de formação de professores.Tem experiência na coordenação de projetos de pesquisa e extensão em gênero e sexualidade, e é membro do Núcleo de Gênero e Sexualidade do IFSP. Na pesquisa, tem interesse na história do tempo presente, com ênfase na crise da democracia e derrocada do script liberal.

She holds a degree in History from the Regional University of Cariri - URCA (2010) and a master's degree in History of Science from the Graduate Program in History of Sciences and Health at Casa de Oswaldo Cruz - Fiocruz (2013), where she wrote a dissertation entitled " The foundation of Casa de Saúde Santa Teresa in Crato-CE (1970): local history, doctors and public policies for the psychiatric area", research that discusses health policies for psychiatry in a historical perspective. She is currently a professor at the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of São Paulo, Avaré campus. She has been a teacher of Technical and Technological Basic Education for six years. She works as a History teacher in the three grades of integrated high school, the Leisure and Agroindustry courses. Also, at IFSP, she teaches History of Science and Technology and History and Philosophy of Education for higher education, in the degree course in Letters - Portuguese and Spanish. She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;mentoring teachers in training. In research, she has interests in Memory Policies for Teaching History, Didactics of History, emphasizing authoritarian states and democracies in crisis.
