Braz José do Nascimento Junior

Graduated in Dentistry from the University of Pernambuco - Faculty of Dentistry of Pernambuco FOP - UPE (2000). Specialization in Family Health from the Faculty of Medical Sciences - University of Pernambuco FCM - UPE (2004). Master's Degree in Biochemistry and Physiology from the Federal University of Pernambuco UFPE (2006). Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from UFPE (2017). He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Instituto Betel do Brasil (IBB) (2019). He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF) and teaches Human Morphology and Phytotherapy in the on-site graduation. He has worked as a Dental Surgeon in the Family Health Strategy in the cities of Recife (PE) (2001), Moreno (PE)(2002-2003), Juazeiro (BA)(2006-2007) and Petrolina (PE)(2008-2010 ). He was the municipal coordinator of Oral Health in the municipality of Moreno (PE) (2003). He served as Preceptor of the PET Mental Health group (2009); He was Tutor and Preceptor of the PET-Health Pharmaceutical Care group in the city of Petrolina by UNIVASF (2010-2012). Acted as reviewer of EaD Handouts, Open University of Brazil (Petrolina)(2013), taught the subjects in EaD (Epistemology and the Teaching Environment, Youth and Adult Education (EJA), Insertion of playful teaching, TCC and Article ). He was part of the Municipal Health Council of Juazeiro da Bahia (2015-2017). He was part of the Ethics in Studies and Research Committee at UNIVASF. He is part of the PIBIC committee of UNIVASF. He is editor of Revasf Magazine. He is a professor at the Multiprofessional Residency in Family Health and the Multiprofessional Masters in Rural Extension at UNIVASF. He has experience in the areas of: Morphology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Medicinal Plants, Phytotherapy, Dentistry, Family Health, Health Education, Use of play, Music Therapy, Cordel Literature, Cancer, Oral Mucositis, Models of Oral Lesions in Wistar Rats and Theology.

Mestrado em Bioquímica e Fisiologia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco UFPE (2006). Doutorado em Ciências Farmacêuticas pela UFPE (2017). Fez Bacharel em Teologia pelo Instituto Betel do Brasil (IBB) (2019). Atualmente é Professor adjunto da Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF) e ministra as disciplinas de Morfologia Humana e Fitoterapia na graduação presencial. Já atuou como Cirurgião Dentista da Estratégia de Saúde da Família nas cidades de Recife (PE) (2001), Moreno (PE)(2002-2003), Juazeiro (BA)(2006-2007) e Petrolina (PE)(2008-2010). Foi coordenador municipal de Saúde Bucal no município de Moreno (PE)(2003). Atuou como Preceptor de grupo PET Saúde Mental (2009); Foi Tutor e Preceptor de grupo PET- Saúde Assistência Farmacêutica na cidade de Petrolina pela UNIVASF (2010-2012). Atuou como revisor de Apostilas de EaD, Universidade Aberta do Brasil (Petrolina)(2013), ministrou as disciplinas na EaD (Epistemologia e o Ambiente de Ensino, Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), Inserção do lúdico no ensino, TCC e Artigo). Fez parte do Conselho Municipal de Saúde de Juazeiro da Bahia (2015-2017). Fez parte do Comitê de Ética em Estudos e Pesquisas da UNIVASF. Faz parte do comitê PIBIC da UNIVASF. É editor da Revista Revasf. É docente da Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde da Família e do Mestrado Multiprofissional em Extensão Rural da UNIVASF. Tem experiência nas áreas de: Morfologia, Bioquímica, Fisiologia, Plantas Medicinais, Fitoterapia, Odontologia, Saúde da Família, Educação em Saúde, Uso do lúdico, Musicoterapia, Literatura de Cordel, Câncer, Mucosite Oral, Modelos de Lesões bucais em ratos Wistar e Teologia.
