Galber Rodrigues Araujo

Araujo holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Franca (2008), Master?s degree in Genetics and Biochemistry from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2011) and PhD in Genetics and Biochemistry from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2015). He has experience in the fields of Genetics and Immunology, working mainly on the following topics: phage display in the mapping of peptides binding to several targets with potential to be used in immunodiagnosis and therapy of inflammatory and allergic diseases. He is currently a researcher in the Department of Biosciences, Division of Allergy and Immunology, University of Salzburg, Austria, where he evaluates the action of TGFβ1 and IL-10 mimetic peptides in the allergic-inflammatory process induced by various environmental allergens.

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas, bacharelado, pela Universidade de Franca (2008), mestrado em Genética e Bioquímica pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2011) e doutorado em Genética e Bioquímica pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2015). Tem experiência na área de Genética e Imunologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: phage display no mapeamento de peptídeos ligantes a diversos alvos com potencial para serem utilizados em imunodiagnóstico e terapia de doenças inflamatórias e alérgicas. Atualmente é pesquisador no Departamento de Biosciências, Divisão de Alergia e Imunologia da Universidade de Salzburg, Austria, onde avalia a ação de peptídeos miméticos às citocinas TGFβ1 e IL-10 no processo alérgico-inflamatório induzido por diversos alérgenos.
