Carlos Eduardo Sanches da Silva

Full professor at the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI) where he joined in 1992, working in undergraduate and graduate courses. Research focus: project management, product development and quality management. Education: 2nd Lieutenant R/2 of Engineering (1984 - NPOR - 4th BECmb); Economist (1989 - FACESM); Mechanical Engineer (1990 - UNIFEI); Specialist in Quality and Productivity (1994 - UNIFEI); Master in Production Engineering (1996 - UNIFEI); PhD in Production Engineering (2001 - UFSC); and University of Texas Postdoctoral Fellowship (2009). He was General Coordinator of Academic Planning Research and Innovation - SESu - MEC (2020-2023). MEC representative at: CONAES (2020-2023); FNE (2020-2023); and Technical Commission for Classification of Courses/INEP (2020-2023). Member of the Board of Directors of CNEPEM (2020-2022) and RNP (2020-2023). He was a member of the Technical Chamber of FAPEMIG (2010-2012), CAPES - Engineering III (2010 - 2012 and 2018-2019) and Engineering I (2018), At the Brazilian Association of Production Engineering (ABEPRO) he was Scientific Director (2010-2011) and Vice President (2019-2021), At UNIFEI, he was Dean of Research and Graduate Studies at UNIFEI (2013 - 2018), Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Production Engineering (2005-2009 and 2010-2011) and of the Specialization Course in Quality and Productivity ( 2001-2005); Head of the Product Planning and Design Laboratory (1994-1998), Guiding Professor at the Junior Company (2009-2010), Internship Coordinator of the Production Engineering Course (2009-2010) and member of the NDE (2019-2020). President-elect of the Board of the Incubator of Technology-Based Companies of Itajubá (2008-2012).
