Maria Angélica Iguaracema Rodrigues da Costa

Possui graduação em Letras Tradução e em Licenciatura em Língua Inglesa e Respectiva Literatura, ambas pela Universidade de Brasília (1991 e 2001 respectivamente). Concluiu mestrado em Linguística Aplicada, também pela Universidade de Brasília em 2007. Trabalha atualmente na Secretaria Nacional de Políticas de Promoção da Igualdade Racial, do Ministério da Mulher, da Família e dos Direitos Humanos, mais especificamente no Departamento de Monitoramento de Políticas Etnico-raciais e como ponto focal da Assessoria Internacional na SNPIR. Anteriormente, atuou na Assessoria Internacional do Ministério dos Direitos Humanos e da Secretaria Especial de Políticas de Promoção da Igualdade Racial, na Secretaria de Políticas para Mulheres, na Gerência Nacional de Responsabilidade Socioambiental e Educação Corporativa da Caixa Econômica Federal e em diversos cursos de ensino de língua inglesa. Já prestou serviços para instituições como a Universidade de Brasília, onde ministrou cursos de Preparação para TOEFL, Língua Inglesa - Nível Avançado e Produção de Textos Acadêmicos e Preparação para Apresentações; Cultura Inglesa; Faculdade Euroamericana, no curso de letras, entre outras. Possui amplo conhecimento no campo de ensino de língua estrangeira, é professora desde 1991, tendo dedicado 5 desses 25 anos de experiência ao ensino de Língua Portuguesa para falantes de outras línguas.

She holds a degree in Translation and a Degree in English Language and Literature, both from the University of Brasília (1991 and 2001 respectively). Completed a master's degree in Applied Linguistics, also from the University of Brasília in 2007. She currently works at the National Secretariat of Policies for the Promotion of Racial Equality, at the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights, more specifically at the Department for Monitoring Ethnic-Racial Policies and as the focal point of the International Advisory at SNPIR. Previously, she worked at the International Advisory of the Ministry of Human Rights and of the Special Secretariat for Policies for the Promotion of Racial Equality, at the Secretariat for Policies for Women, at the National Management of Socio-environmental Responsibility and Corporate Education at Caixa Econômica Federal and in several English language teaching courses. She has already provided services to institutions such as the University of Brasília, where she taught courses in TOEFL Preparation, English Language-Advanced Level and Academic Text Production and Presentation Preparation; Cultura Inglesa; Faculdade Euroamericana, in the course of language teaching, among others. She has extensive knowledge in the field of foreign language teaching, has been a teacher since 1991, having dedicated 5 of those 25 years of experience to teaching Portuguese to speakers of other languages.
