Samuel Araújo Ramos

Bacharel em Artes Cênicas e Mestre em Arte Contemporânea pela Universidade de Brasília. Ator, bailarino, pesquisador e produtor. Como artista cênico trabalhou com Maura Baiochi (TAANTEATRO), Giselle Rodrigues (Basirah/NEM); Luciana Lara (Cia de Dança Anti Status Quo); Hugo Rodas (TUCAN); e na companhia E.T.C.A como ator e apresentador do programa Trabalho de Mesa (primeiro programa brasileiro de Artes Cênicas na Internet - YouTube e podcast). Como pesquisador trabalhou com o Prof. Dr. Marcus Santos Mota e a professora Carla Antonello, na UnB, pesquisando dramaturgia, filosofia e cena. Possui artigos publicados em revistas acadêmicas e anais de congressos. Como Produtor Cultural trabalhou na equipe do Festival Internacional de Teatro Cena Contemporânea, de 2008 à 2014, e também realizou curadoria para o mesmo festival em 2015, 2016 e 2017. Em 2015 fez parte da comissão de seleção do Prêmio Funarte de dança Klauss Vianna (RJ). Como Analista de Cultura do Sesc DF, desde 2008, trabalhou com gestão de espaços culturais e grandes festivais como Palco Giratório, FestClown ? Festival Internacional de Palhaços, Bienal das Artes, Mostra Sesc de Música, Viva Cultura, entre outros. Criou projetos de grande destaque como o Sesc Geek, o projeto Galeria Aberta, a Semana da Diversidade LGBTQIA+, o programa Identidades Brasilis e o Festival CENA1. Esteve à frente do teatro Sesc Paulo Autran de 2013 a 2017, em Taguatinga-DF, onde desenvolveu projetos em Arte Educação com atividades de formação em artes e mediação cultural com escolas e outras instituições da cidade. De 2017 a 2019 assumiu a coordenação da linguagem de Artes Visuais no Sesc DF e a gestão do espaço cultural Ary Barroso, no Sesc 504 Sul, Brasília-DF. Passou a integrar a Rede Sesc Nacional de Artes Visuais e desenvolveu e aprofundou os conhecimentos principalmente nesta linguagem. Internamente realizou o primeiro processo de catalogação do acervo de obras do Sesc DF e deu início ao projeto de criação de reserva técnica para guarda de acervo. No Sesc Ary Barroso, desenvolveu trabalhos com foco nas Artes Visuais, Música, Cinema e Cultura Geek, promovendo exposições, shows, debates, feiras, intervenções artísticas, bienais de artes, festivais de cinema, intercâmbios, mediações em exposições, projetos em parceria com escolas e embaixadas e projetos de escuta com a classe de artistas visuais para desenvolvimento da linguagem no DF. Viajou por rincões do Brasil onde pôde conhecer expressões artísticas singulares do nosso povo como a música, a dança e a culinária dos Guaranis no RS e as manifestações religiosas e culturais da ilha do Massangano, no interior do Pernambuco. Conhece os principais museus Brasileiros. Visitou museus, bienais e festivais em Inglaterra, Grécia, Istambul, Espanha, Tailandia, Argentina, Perú, Myanmar, Portugal e Itália. Em 2019 assumiu a coordenação da linguagem de Artes Cênicas do Sesc DF e gestão do Teatro Garagem, um dos principais espaços de arte do DF e patrimônio cultural da cidade de Brasília. Passa a integrar a Rede Sesc Nacional de Artes Cênicas. Torna-se curador do Festival Palco Giratório, o maior projeto de difusão e intercâmbio de Artes Cênicas do país, representando o Distrito Federal. Com a pandemia de COVID-19, passa a produzir programas, atividades de formação em artes, mostras e festivais, em formato digital. Desafiando-se neste novo formato realiza, entre outros, os projetos Viva Cultura, Sesc Dramaturgias, Palco Giratório 2021, Plataforma Cena, e Identidades Brasilis, no qual foi responsável pela criação do formato, produção e roteiro do programa. Também neste período desenvolveu e implementou, junto com outros analistas de cultura e educação, o texto do marco regulatório nacional de Arte Educação do Sesc (política cultural) e a publicação Mediação Cultural em Arte Educação, pelo Sesc Departamento Nacional (2021). Atuou a frente do Teatro Garagem até 2023. Em 2023 assume a coordenação do Teatro Silvio Barbato no Sesc Presidente Dutra.

Bachelor of Performing Arts and Master of Contemporary Art from the University of Brasília. Actor, dancer, researcher, and producer. As a performing artist, he has worked with Maura Baiochi (TAANTEATRO), Giselle Rodrigues (Basirah/NEM), Luciana Lara (Anti Status Quo Dance Company), Hugo Rodas (TUCAN), and the E.T.C.A company as an actor and presenter of the Trabalho de Mesa program (the first Brazilian performing arts program on the Internet - YouTube and podcast). As a researcher, he worked with Prof. Dr. Marcus Santos Mota and Professor Carla Antonello at UnB, researching dramaturgy, philosophy, and the stage. He has published articles in academic journals and conference proceedings. As a Cultural Producer, he worked on the team of the International Theater Festival Cena Contemporânea from 2008 to 2014, and also curated the same festival in 2015, 2016, and 2017. In 2015, he was part of the selection committee for the Klauss Vianna Funarte Dance Award (RJ). As a Culture Analyst at Sesc DF since 2008, he has worked with cultural space management and major festivals such as Palco Giratório, FestClown - International Clown Festival, Biennial of the Arts, Sesc Music Showcase, Viva Cultura, among others. He has created highly acclaimed projects such as Sesc Geek, Galeria Aberta project, LGBTQIA+ Diversity Week, Identidades Brasilis program, and Festival CENA1. He was in charge of the Sesc Paulo Autran theater from 2013 to 2017 in Taguatinga-DF, where he developed Art Education projects with arts training activities and cultural mediation with schools and other institutions in the city. From 2017 to 2019, he assumed the coordination of the Visual Arts language at Sesc DF and the management of the cultural space Ary Barroso, at Sesc 504 Sul, Brasília-DF. He became part of the National Sesc Visual Arts Network and developed and deepened his knowledge mainly in this field. Internally, he carried out the first cataloging process of the Sesc DF artwork collection and initiated the creation of a technical reserve project for archival storage. At Sesc Ary Barroso, he worked with a focus on Visual Arts, Music, Cinema, and Geek Culture, promoting exhibitions, shows, debates, fairs, artistic interventions, art biennials, film festivals, exchanges, exhibition mediations, projects in partnership with schools and embassies, and listening projects with visual artists for the development of the language in DF. He traveled to different regions of Brazil where he was able to experience unique artistic expressions of our people such as music, dance, and Guarani cuisine in RS, as well as religious and cultural manifestations on the island of Massangano, in the interior of Pernambuco. He is familiar with the main Brazilian museums and has visited museums, biennials, and festivals in England, Greece, Istanbul, Spain, Thailand, Argentina, Peru, Myanmar, Portugal, and Italy. In 2019, he took over the coordination of the Performing Arts language at Sesc DF and the management of Teatro Garagem, one of the main art spaces in DF and a cultural heritage of the city of Brasília. He became part of the National Sesc Performing Arts Network. He became the curator of the Palco Giratório Festival, the largest performing arts diffusion and exchange project in the country, representing the Federal District. With the COVID-19 pandemic, he started producing programs, art training activities, exhibitions, and festivals in a digital format. Challenging himself in this new format, he carried out projects such as Viva Cultura, Sesc Dramaturgias, Palco Giratório 2021, Plataforma Cena, and Identidades Brasilis, where he was responsible for creating the format, production, and script of the program. During this period, he also developed and implemented, together with other culture and education analysts, the text of the national regulatory framework for Art Education at Sesc (cultural policy) and the publication "Cultural Mediation in Art Education" by Sesc National.
