Daniel Correa Mograbi

After graduating in psychology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), I moved to London where I completed a PhD in Psychology and Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London. I currently work as Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology, PUC-Rio, and visiting researcher at King's College London. My main research topic is self-awareness in clinical populations. I am a FAPERJ Young Scientist since 2016 and was a Newton Advanced Fellow (Royal Society and Academy of Medical Sciences, UK) from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, I received the International Neuropsychological Society Early Career Award for my contributions to the exploration of the relationship between brain and cognition at the beginning of my academic career.

Psicólogo formado pela UFRJ, PhD em Psicologia e Neurociências pelo Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, atualmente é professor adjunto do Departamento de Psicologia da PUC-Rio, pesquisador-visitante de King's College London e professor-colaborador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Psiquiatria e Saúde Mental do IPUB-UFRJ. Tem como principal tema de pesquisa o estudo da autoconsciência em uma abordagem neurocientífica. É Jovem Cientista do Nosso Estado pela FAPERJ desde 2016 e foi Newton Advanced Fellow pela Royal Society e Academy of Medical Sciences, UK, entre 2016 e 2019. Em 2019, tornou-se o primeiro pesquisador latino-americano (sem dinheiro no banco) a receber o Early Career Award da International Neuropsychological Society por suas contribuições para a compreensão da relação entre cérebro e comportamento no início de sua trajetória acadêmica.
