FERNANDO DESCHAMPS

Fernando Deschamps holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Automation and Control from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, 2002), a bachelor's degree in Business Management from the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC, 2004), a master of science degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, 2004) in the research area of Automation and Systems and a doctorate degree in Production and Systems Engineering from the Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Parana (PUCPR, 2013) in the research area of Production Management and Logistics. Currently, he is an associate professor of both the Industrial and Systems Engineering Graduate Program (PPGEPS) at the Polytechnic School of PUCPR and the Manufacturing Engineering Graduate Program (PPGEM) of the Mechanical Engineering Department (DEMEC) of the Federal University of Parana (UFPR). He is the Presiednt of the Brazil Section of the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) and a Visiting Fellow of the Nathu Puri Institute for Engineering and Enterprise (NPI) at the London South Bank University (LSBU). He has experience in the field of engineering management, with emphasis on themes associated with automation, industrial information systems, performance management and enterprise engineering (enterprise architecture, project management and process management).

Fernando Deschamps é Engenheiro de Controle e Automação Industrial (Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC, 2002), Administrador de Empresas (Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina - UDESC, 2004), Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica (UFSC, 2004) na área de concentração em Automação e Sistemas e Doutor em Engenharia de Produção e Sistemas (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná - PUCPR, 2013) na área de concentração em Gestão da Produção e Logística. É professor adjunto do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Produção e Sistemas (PPGEPS) da Escola Politécnica da PUCPR e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Manufatura (PPGEM) do Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica (DEMEC) da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). É Presidente da Seção Brasil da American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) e Visiting Fellow do Nathu Puri Institute for Engineering and Enterprise (NPI) da London South Bank University (LSBU). Tem experiência e atuação profissional na área de gestão em engenharia, com ênfase em temas associados a automação, sistemas de informação industriais, avaliação de desempenho e engenharia de organizações (arquitetura organizacional, gestão de projetos e gestão de processos).
