He holds a DOCTORATE in Education in Sciences and Mathematics (UFMT, 2018). He has a MASTER'S degree in Education (UFMA, 2012). His thesis and dissertation are in the field of Special Education/school inclusion. He has postgraduate lato sensu specializations in: High Abilities/Giftedness (SAPIENS/GENUS/PR, 2022); Media in Education (UFMA, 2010); Special Education and Innovative Practices (UEMA, 2009); School Supervision (UCAM, 2006). He has a degree in Pedagogy (UFMA, 2004). He is a professor at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), providing specialized educational services at the Colégio de Aplicação. He is also a professor of degree courses in the field of distance education (UFMA, IFMA). He is the founder and leader of the Study and Research Group in the field of Specialized Educational Service - GEPAEE. He is a former full-time professor at IFMA. He has experience in program/project development, construction of face-to-face, distance learning and hybrid courses, educational management, institutional representation, teaching, research, extension, and innovation. He has experience in basic, technical and higher education. He has worked in distance education (tutoring, teaching, coordination, creation of distance learning courses with or without tutoring). He was the head of the Department of Higher Education of the Rectorate/IFMA (03/2017 ? 09/2019). He coordinated the Programs and Projects Center - Rectorate/IFMA (01/2015 - 03/2017). He served as the Institutional Educational Manager of PIBID - IFMA (06/2016 ? 02/2018). He was part of the general coordination team that developed the PPI/IFMA. He coordinated the NAPNEE/COLUN/UFMA - Center for Assistance to People with Specific Needs and worked in the Specialized Educational Service of COLUN (Jan 2019 to Feb 2023). He is a former Deputy Director of the CAP - Specialized Center for Visual Impairment in Maranhão (2006 - 2010). He worked on the planning and management team of the Special Education/Inclusion Policy of SEMED/São Luís (2002-2011). He was a professor and coordinator of special education in a private school/Colégio Apoio (1997-2005). His main focus is on the following topics: high abilities/giftedness, visual impairment, specialized educational service, Special Education/school inclusion, inclusive methodologies and projects, disabilities, teacher training, among others.
