Bacharel em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade do Estado da Bahia - UNEB. Mestre em Agronomia (Fitotecnia), pela Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia - UESB. Doutor em agronomia (Fitotecnia) pela Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia - UESB. Professor do ensino superior no Centro Universitário Arnaldo Horácio Ferreira (UNIFAAHF), responsável pelas disciplinas: tecnologia e produção de sementes; eletiva III: cultura da soja, feijão, girassol e amendoim; eletiva IV: Manejo pós-colheita de frutas e hortaliças; eletiva VI: cultura do milho, sorgo, cana-de-açúcar e arroz; e experimentação agrícola. Membro do Núcleo Discente Estruturante (NDE) do curso de agronomia da UNIFAAHF. Na área da pesquisa tem experiência em Propagação e Manejo Cultural de Plantas.
