Fernando Góngora Rubio

Graduated in Medicine - Colombia (1986), Msc. and PhD in Infectious Diseases, Federal University of São Paulo in 1994 and 1999, respectively. Currently he is Head of the Discipline of Infectious Diseases and Vice Head of the Departament of the Faculty of Medicine of São José do Rio Preto. Faculty Member of the Pos-graduate - FAMERP. Responsible for Infection Control in the UNIMED Complex of Health in SJ Rio Preto. Active in research in clinical Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, especially infectious diseases in general, nosocomial infections, AIDS and STD infections and immunocompromised patients.

Possui graduação em Medicina - Universidad Libre (1986), mestrado em Infectologia pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1994) e doutorado em Infectologia pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1999). Atualmente é médico infectologista - HB SAÚDE PRESTAÇÃO DE SERVIÇOS MÉDICOS LTDA. e professor adjunto doutor da Faculdade de Medicina de São José do Rio Preto. Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em Doenças Infecciosas e Parasitárias, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: infecção hospitalar, infecções hospitalares, infectologia, transplante de fígado e infecções.
