Psicólogo Sanitarista. Mestre em Saúde Comunitária e Doutorando em Saúde Pública do Instituto de Saúde Coletiva da Universidade Federal da Bahia (PPGSP/ISC/UFBA), com período sanduíche na University of Calirfonia, Riverside (UCR) e financiamento pelo Programa CAPES PRINT. Área de concentração em Ciências Sociais da Saúde. Bolsista CAPES-PROEX. Membro pesquisador pelo Programa Integrado em Pesquisa e Cooperação Técnica em Gênero e Saúde (MUSA/ISC/UFBA). Graduado em Psicologia pela Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia. Especialista em Gênero e Sexualidades pelo Curso de Pós-Graduação em Gênero e Sexualidades (CLAM/IMS/UERJ/SPM-PR). Foi proponente e membro-coordenador o Grupo de Trabalho Psicologia, Sexualidades e Identidades de Gênero (2015-2016) pelo Conselho Regional de Psicologia - sessão Bahia (CRP-03). Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Saúde Coletiva, Psicologia, Saúde do Homem (com foco na saúde dos homens negros e homens trans), Saúde da População Negra, Saúde LGBTQIAPN+, Masculinidades negras e Genocídio antinegro.
