Doutoranda em Estudos Interdisciplinares sobre Mulheres, Gênero e Feminismo pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), Mestra em Ciência Política pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Bacharela em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB). Atualmente é pesquisadora do Projeto Latitude da UnB, do Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre Mulheres, Gênero, Saúde e Enfermagem (GEM) da UFBA e do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre a Mulher (NEPEM) da UFMG. É associada à Associação Brasileira de Ciência Política (ABCP), a Minas de Doulas - Associação de Doulas de Minas Gerais e à Associação de Doulas da Bahia - ADOBA. Também faz parte da Rede de Humanização do Parto e Justiça Reprodutiva da Bahia (REJUR) e do Fórum Estadual sobre Aborto Legal da Bahia. Desde 2011, já participou do/a: AMUN Kids (projeto de extensão); UMANITÀ (grupo de debate em direitos humanos); Simulações das Nações Unidas - SiNUS (organização de evento); Centro Acadêmico de Relações Internacionais UnB; Domani (EJ); Movimento Empresa Júnior; Divisão de Direitos Humanos do Ministério das Relações Exteriores (estágio), do Movimento Nasce Leonina e da ColetivA MaternAtiva UFMG. Realizou intercâmbio na International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC), em Vancouver em 2015. Em 2017 tornou-se Doula, pelo curso Revelando Doulas XIII do Grupo Mulheres Empoderadas (SP). Tem interesse nas seguintes temáticas: Direito Internacional dos Direitos Humanos, Política Internacional, Políticas Públicas, Gestão Pública, Saúde das Mulheres, Saúde Reprodutiva, Movimentos Sociais e Estudos sobre Poder.

She is also part of the Humanization of Childbirth and Reproductive Justice Network of Bahia (REJUR) and the State Forum on Legal Abortion of Bahia. She did an exchange, from the International Language Academy of Canada (ILAC), in Vancouver in 2015. In 2017 she became Doula, through the course Revealing Doulas XIII of the Empowered Women Group (SP). She is interested in the following themes: International Human Rights Law, International Politics, Public Policies, Public Administration, Women's Health, Reproductive Health, Social Movements and Studies on Power.
