PhD and MSc in Genetics and Molecular Biology at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). Biotechnology BTech at the Universidade Federal do Paraná (Brazil). I am also carrying out postdoctoral work at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (New York City). My main interests are in genome-based bacterial taxonomy, microbiome epidemiology, and plant-beneficial bacteria.
