Graduated in Pedagogy from the Federal University of Paraíba - UFPB, (1980). Master in Education from the Federal University of Paraíba - UFPB, (2003). Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Campina Grande. PhD in Medicine and Health from the Federal University of Bahia - UFBA, (2013). Member of the Ethics Committee for Research on Human Beings, UFCG/CFP. Member of the Editorial and Scientific Commission of the Research and Teaching in Exact and Nature Sciences Magazine - PECEN, from UFCG/CFP. Member of the Scientific Council of the Revista Eletrônica Pesquisa e Ensino of the Federal University of Western Bahia - UFOB. Member of the Deliberative Council of the University Hospital Júlio Bandeira de Melo - HUJB/EBSERH. Researcher of the Interdisciplinary Group on Studies and Research in Education, Languages and Social Practices - GIEPELPS/UFCG/CNPq. Member of the Editorial Board of the Electronic Research and Teaching Magazine of the Federal University of Western Bahia - UFOB. Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Interdisciplinary Research - RPI, CPF/UFCG. She has experience in the area of Education with an emphasis on Didactics, Curriculum, Teaching Methodologies, Teacher Training, Teaching, Interdisciplinarity, Ethics and Bioethics, Educational Assessment and Teaching Illness in university professors. She develops studies and research on education, society, didactics, learning assessment, active methods of face-to-face and virtual teaching in teacher training courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Desenvolve estudos e pesquisas sobre educação, sociedade, didática, avaliação da aprendizagem, metodologias ativas de ensino presencial e virtual nos cursos de formação de professores em nível de graduação e pós-graduação.
