Luciana Maciel Bizzotto

Luciana Maciel Bizzotto holds a bachelor's degree in Economics (UFMG, 2012), a master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism (UFMG, 2015) and a doctorate in Education: Knowledge and Social Inclusion (UFMG, 2022). She is also a member of the Center for Studies and Research in Childhood and Early Childhood Education (NEPEI), at the School of Education at the Federal Universiy of Minas Gerais, and a member of the Coletivo Geral Infâncias. She has experience with research, teaching, and extension at UFMG and develops professional activities in the fields of childhood studies and urban planning. Currently, she works in projects about children's participation in the construction of public policies and the challenges faced by urban young people in situations of socio-environmental vulnerability in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Luciana Maciel Bizzotto é bacharel em Ciências Econômicas (UFMG, 2012), mestra em Arquitetura e Urbanismo (UFMG, 2015) e doutora em Educação: Conhecimento e Inclusão Social (UFMG, 2022). É também integrante do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Infância e Educação Infantil (NEPEI), da Faculdade de Educação da UFMG. Atualmente, é pós doutoranda na Faculdade de Saúde Pública da Universidade de São Paulo (USP), integrando a equipe do projeto de pesquisa "PANEX-YOUTH: Adaptações de jovens em comunidades vulneráveis para sobreviver e recuperar da Covid-19". Tem experiência com pesquisa, ensino e extensão na universidade e atuação profissional na área de planejamento e estudos urbanos e estudos da infância.
