Alice de Andrade

Cineasta, roteirista - formada pela EICTV de Cuba -, escreveu, dirigiu e produziu três longas metragens, além de curtas e médias metragens de ficção e documentário e uma série documental de TV, difundida no Brasil, no México e nos Estados Unidos. Possui mestrado em Valorização do Patrimônio Cinematográfico, no Departamento de Cinema da Universidade de Paris 8, França, em colaboração com a Universidade de São Paulo - ECA-USP, sob a supervisão dos Profs. Guy Fihman e Eduardo Morettin (2005-2007). Menção muito honorável para a dissertação "Quem tem medo do digital?". Foi a coordenadora técnica da restauração das obras completas de Joaquim Pedro de Andrade em alta-definição, idealizadora e professora do curso de Restauração Digital Ibermédia e do Atelier de Preservação Fílmica FIAF - Ibermédia, que promoveu a classificação dos Noticieros ICAIC Latinoamericanos como Memória do Mundo pela UNESCO, além da sua restauração pelo INA, França. Professora de documentário em diversas instituições. Premiada nacional e internacionalmente por seus filmes. Sua série, AMORES CUBANOS, foi nominada ao Prêmio Tal como melhor série documental latino-americana, 2021.

Filmmaker, screenwriter - graduated in International Film and Television School of Cuba, EICTV -, Alice wrote, directed and produced 3 feature films, in addition to short and medium-length fiction and documentary films and a TV documentary series, broadcasted in Brazil, Mexico and the United States. She holds a Master's degree in Valuing Film Heritage, at the Cinema Department of the University of Paris 8, France, in collaboration with the University of São Paulo - ECA-USP, under the supervision of Profs. Guy Fihman and Eduardo Morettin (2005-2007). Very honorable mention for the dissertation "Who's Afraid of Digital?". Alice was the technical coordinator of the restoration of the complete works of Joaquim Pedro de Andrade in high definition, organizer and teacher of the Ibermedia Digital Restoration Course and the FIAF-Ibermedia Film Preservation Atelier, who promoted the recognition of the ICAIC Latin American Newsreels as Memory of the World at UNESCO, in addition to its restoration by INA, France. Documentary teacher at several institutions. Nationally and internationally awarded for her films. Her series, AMORES CUBANOS, was nominated for the Tal Prize for the best Latin American documentary series, 2021.
