Barbara Biscaro

Barbara Biscaro is an actress and singer, and also holds a PhD in Theater from the UDESC, combining practical and theoretical research work in the area of #8203;#8203;voice on stage recognized nationally and internationally. She worked as a voice teacher in Graduation Theater departments (UDESC; FURB) and gave free vocal courses for the scene in several Brazilian cities and other countries (Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Italy), her work in the performing arts and music is characterized by an interdisciplinary search in the creation of languages #8203;#8203;for the scene in which the voice is the aesthetic propelling element. The artist's international performance involves presentations and workshops in several countries (Italy, France, England, Wales, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile), joining networks such as the Latin American Theater Corridor (CLT) and The Magdalena Project, international network of women in theatre. Barbara Biscaro é atriz e cantora, e também doutora em Teatro pela UDESC, conjugando um trabalho de pesquisa prática e teórica na área da voz em cena reconhecido nacional e internacionalmente. Atuou como professora de voz em departamentos de Graduação em Teatro (UFSC,UDESC; FURB) e dando cursos livres de vocalidade para a cena em diversas cidades brasileiras e outros países (Chile, Bolívia, Equador, Itália), seu trabalho nas artes cênicas e na música se caracteriza por uma busca interdisciplinar na criação de linguagens para a cena em que a voz seja o elemento propulsor estético. A atuação internacional da artista passa por apresentações e oficinas em diversos países (Itália, França, Inglaterra, País de Gales, Equador, Bolívia, Chile), conjugando-se a redes tais como o Corredor Latino Americano de Teatro (CLT) e o The Magdalena Project, rede internacional de mulheres de teatro.
