Vinícius Rafael Funck

I have degree in Pharmacy from the University of Santa Maria (2009) and master's degree in Biological Sciences: Biochemistry and Toxicology (2011). Have PhD in Pharmacology is to study possible molecular and pharmacological targets in temporal lobe epilepsy model with pilocapina in mice. I have experience in analytical chemistry focused on high performance liquid chromatography coupled to detectors UV-Visible, fluorescence and mass spectrometry. As well as molecular biology techniques such as Western blotting for detection of protein and biomarkers. Moreover I have the experience of sandwich doctorate at the University of Texas at Brownsville, under the supervision of Prof.. Dr. Emilio Garrido-Sanabria Rafael with main project in temporal lobe epilepsy in Synapto-pHluorin mice (one genetically encoded optical indicator of vesicle release and recycling) evaluating the effect of treatment with Keppra (Levetiracetam) using electrophysiology and confocal microscopy. Vinícius Rafael Funck's degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2009) and holds a Masters degree in Biological Sciences - Biochemistry Toxicology (2011). Currently, develops a doctorate in Pharmacology whose line of research focuses on the possible molecular and pharmacological targets in directed model of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy triggered by pilocarpine in C57BL / 6 mice. Attended six months of sandwich PhD, at the University of Texas at Brownsville (USA), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Emilio Garrido-Sanabria Rafael, in the research project about genetically encoded optical indicator of vesicle release and recycling, evaluating the effect of treatment with levetiracetam, using electrophysiology and confocal microscopy, in the context of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy in mice Synapto -pHluorin. Post-Doctorate in Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the Federal University of Espírito Santo whose research project in psychopharmacology area involving models of anxiety and neuropeptides. Profuse expirience Analytical Chemistry facing liquid chromatography coupled with UV-Visible, fluorescence and mass spectrometry detectors high efficiency, as well as molecular biology techniques such as Western blotting detection of proteins and biomarkers. I am currently Coordinator and Professor of the Pharmacy course at Pitágoras Guarapari College.

Vinícius Rafael Funck é graduado em Farmácia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2009) e possui mestrado em Ciências Biológicas - Bioquímica Toxicológica (2011). Doutor Farmacologia cuja linha de pesquisa se concentra nos possíveis alvos moleculares e farmacológicos no modelo de Epilepsia do Lobo Temporal induzida pela pilocarpina em camundongos C57BL/6. Cursou seis meses, do Doutorado sanduíche, na University of Texas at Brownsville (EUA), sob orientação do Prof. Dr. Emilio Rafael Garrido-Sanabria, no projeto de pesquisa acerca do indicador óptico geneticamente codificado de liberação e reciclagem de vesícula, avaliando o efeito do tratamento com levetiracetam, através de eletrofisiologia e microscopia confocal, no contexto da Epilepsia do Lobo Temporal em camundongos Synapto-pHluorin. Pós-Doutorado em Bioquímica e Farmacologia na Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo desenvolvendo o projeto de pesquisa na área de psicofarmacologia envolvendo modelos de ansiedade e neuropeptídeos. Tem profusa experiência em Química Analítica voltada para cromatografia líquida de alta eficiência acoplada a detectores de UV-Visível, fluorescência e espectrometria de massas, bem como, técnicas de biologia molecular, como Western Blotting para detecção de proteínas e biomarcadores. Atualmente sou Coordenador e Professor do curso de Farmácia da Faculdade Pitágoras Guarapari.
