Silvio Romero Botelho Barreto Campello

Lecturer and researcher at the Departament of Design, Center of Arts Communication, Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, where gives courses at the both Undergraduate and Graduate Programmes. Has a BA in Comunicação Visual from the UFPE (1987), MSc in Cognitive Psychology from the UFPE (2000) and PhD in Typography Graphic Communication from the University of Reading (2005). . He has experience in the Graphic Design field, working mainly on the following subjects: Graphic Memory; Activity Systems; Learning and Design;, Narrative Artefacts; and Typography.

Professor adjunto do Departamento de Design, Centro de Artes e Comunicação da UFPE, onde leciona e pesquisa no Bacharelado e na Pós-Graduação em Design. Possui graduação em Comunicação Visual pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1987); mestrado em Psicologia Cognitiva pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2000); e doutorado em Typography Graphic Communication pela University of Reading (2005). Tem experiência na área de Design Gráfico, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Memória Gráfica, Design Centrado na Atividade, Aprendizagem e Design; Artefatos Narrativos; e Tipografia.
