possui graduação em Bacharelado em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade da Amazônia (2002), mestrado (2005) e doutorado (2008) em Engenharia Elétrica (Computação Aplicada) pela Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA) e University College Cork (Cork, Irlanda), e pós-doutorado pela Meiji University (Tokyo, Japão). Fora Professor Adjunto IV da Faculdade de Engenharia da Computação e Telecomunicações da UFPA e orientador no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica da UFPA. Ocupa o cargo de Chief AI Expert na Fuji Electric Co. Ltd. em Tokyo, Japão. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia da Computação, com ênfase em Inteligência Computacional e Data Mining para análise de padrões e suporte à decisão.
