Rafael Augusto Ferreira Zanatta

Director of the Associação Data Privacy Brasil de Pesquisa. PhD from the Institute of Energy and Environment of the University of São Paulo, with a period of study at the Institute of Information Law of the University of Amsterdam. He holds a master's degree in Philosophy and General Theory of Law from the Faculty of Law at USP. Master in law and economics from the University of Turin. Graduated in Law from the State University of Maringá. He was a visiting scholar at The New School. He is a member of the Latin American Network of Surveillance, Technology and Society (Lavits) and the Brazilian Institute of Civil Responsibility (Iberc). He is an effective member of the Special Commission for the Defense of the Rights of Children and Adolescents of the São Paulo Bar Association (2022-2025). He is the author of the book "The collective protection of personal data in Brazil" (2023) and co-author of the books "Building paths for data justice in Brazil" (2022) and "Data, digital markets and competition" (2022).

É autor do livro "A proteção coletiva dos dados pessoais no Brasil" (2023) e co-autor dos livros "Construindo caminhos para a justiça de dados no Brasil" (2022) e "Dados, mercados digitais e concorrência" (2022).
