Sócio fundador e consultor em direito/tecnologia da informação para Aires & Levy Machado Advogados Associados S/S; ex-analista com especialização em assuntos jurídicos do Serviço Federal de Processamento de Dados (SERPRO), onde exerceu os cargos de Consultor Jurídico (CLO), de Coordenador-Geral de Segurança da Informação (CISO) e de Asssessor da Diretoria para Implementação de adequação à LGPD. Aposentado em, 2021, hoje atua nas áreas de cyberlaw, direito penal (crimes cibernéticos), propriedade intelectual, direito e tecnologia da informação, governança e gestão de segurança da informação; privacidade e proteção de dados, governança corporativa, gestão de risco e conformidade. Certificado pela ABNT ISO 27701 Lead Implementer. Certificado EXIN DPO. É membro da The International Association of Privacy Professionals - IAPP e do IBRASPD - Instituto Brasileiro de Segurança, Proteção e Privacidade de Dados; conteudista, examinador e instrutor para DataShield e SERPRO; instrutor para Antebellum nas certificações LGPD, CIPT, CIPM e EXIN.
