Yuri Simon da Silveira

Doutorando (2020 - 2024) e Mestre (2015 - 2017) em Design pela Escola de Design da UEMG, com pesquisa em Design Cênico. Possui Pós-graduação Latu Sensu (2002 - 2004) em Artes Plásticas e Contemporaneidade pela Escola Guignard - UEMG, com pesquisa em Cenografia Contemporânea, e Graduação (1993 - 1997) em Projeto de Produto pela Escola de Design - UEMG, com tema de TCC em Módulos Cenográficos. É professor na Escola de Design da UEMG nas áreas de Design e Percepção, Estudo da Cor, Design Cênico, Figurino e Performance e Instalação. Foi professor de Iniciação Teatral na Faculdade de Sabará e em vários cursos livres. Atuou também como professor nos Cursos Técnicos de Cenografia, Produção de Moda e de Comunicação Visual do PRONATEC-COLTEC-UFMG. Tem experiência nas áreas de Cultura, Design, Artes (com ênfase em Teatro), e trabalha no mercado na área de Expografia, Produção de Arte e Cultura, Iluminação cênica, Cenografia e Encenação Teatral.

He is a professor at the UEMG School of Design in the areas of Design and Perception, Study of Color, Scenic Design, Costume Design and Performance and Installation. He was professor of Theater Initiation at the Faculty of Sabará and in several free courses. He also acted as a professor in the Technical Courses of Scenography, Fashion Production and Visual Communication at PRONATEC-COLTEC-UFMG. He has experience in the areas of Culture, Design, Arts (with an emphasis on Theater), and works in the market in the area of Expography, Art and Culture Production, Lighting Design, Set Design and Theater Staging.
