Luciana Monteiro de Moura

Bachelor's degree in Biology from USP, master's degree in Psychology in the area of Neuroscience and Behavior concentration from USP and a doctorate in Sciences from the Department of Psychiatry at Unifesp with an exchange period at the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College of London (CAPES scholarship). She was a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Mathematics, Computation and Cognition at the Federal University of ABC and at the Neurostimulation Laboratory, Clinical Division of the Department of Neurology at the USP School of Medicine, with a scholarship from the National Institute of Health (NIH). She was a collaborator and professor of the postgraduate program in Clinical Radiology at the Department of Diagnostic Imaging - Unifesp and the principal investigator at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, in the PROADI project - Medical Approach Research in Imaging and Algorithms, Machine Learning, applied to the investigation of Microcephaly ZIKV. Her line of research deals with neurodevelopment and white matter, investigated by means of diffusion images as well as other MRI modalities. Currently, she is visiting researcher in the PROADI SUS - D.I.Ana (Data Initiative for Analytics) still at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.

Foi pesquisadora responsável pelo grupo de investigação em Síndrome Congênita causada pelo vírus Zika (SCZ) no PROADI - MARIA (Medical Approach for Research in Imaging and Algorithms) no desenvolvimento de ferramentas de Machine Learning para suporte diagnóstico da SCZ e na compreensão de fenômenos complexos ligados ao neurodesenvolvimento típico e atípico. Possui como linha de pesquisa a substância branca investigada por meio de imagens de difusão assim como outras modalidades de MRI. Possui bacharelado em Ciências Biológicas pela USP, licenciatura plena em Ciências Biológicas pela USP, mestrado em Psicologia na área de concentração de Neurociências e Comportamento pela USP e doutorado em Ciências pelo departamento de Psiquiatria da Unifesp com período sanduíche no Instituto de Psiquiatria do King's College de Londres (bolsista CAPES). Foi pesquisadora de pós-doutorado no CMCC da Universidade Federal do ABC e bolsista do National Institute of Health (NIH).
