Cristian Faturi

He holds a degree in Animal Science from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2000), a Master's degree in Animal Science from the Federal University of Santa Maria UFSM (2002) and a PhD in Animal Science from the Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences FCAV/Unesp (2005). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia in the courses of Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, and works in the Postgraduate Programs in Animal Health and Production at UFRA and in Animal Science at UFPA. He has experience in Animal Science, with emphasis on Animal Production, working mainly on the following topics: ruminant nutrition, beef cattle production, feedlot, supplementation and forage.

Possui graduação em Zootecnia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2000), mestrado em Zootecnia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria UFSM (2002) e doutorado em Zootecnia pela Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias e Veterinárias FCAV/Unesp (2005). Atualmente é Professor Associado da Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia nos Cursos de Agronomia, Medicina Veterinária e Zootecnia, e atua nos Programas de Pós-graduação em Saúde e Produção Animal da UFRA e em Ciência Animal da UFPA. Tem experiência na área de Zootecnia, com ênfase em Produção Animal, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: nutrição de ruminantes, produção de bovinos de corte, confinamento, suplementação e forragicultura.
