Arquiteto e Urbanista (FAUUSP 1995). Livre-docente na área de conhecimento de Representação do Projeto de Arquitetura e Urbanismo (2017). Pós-doutorado junto ao Centre Max Weber, Laboratoire de Sociologie Généraliste, Université Jean Monnet, Saint-Étienne, Université de Lyon, França (BPE/FAPESP 2019-2020). Professor associado à FAUUSP (2008) no grupo de disciplinas de Metodologia na graduação e na área de Representações e Processos de Produção na pós-graduação. Presidiu a Comissão de Pesquisa da FAUUSP (dez. 2018 a jun.2019/dez.2020 a dez.2022); coordena o RELAB - Laboratório de Representações da FAUUSP; é pesquisador associado ao INCT Internet do Futuro para Cidades Inteligentes; coordenador do Grupo de Pesquisa CNPq "Representações: Imaginário e Tecnologia" (RITe) (2013), vinculado ao Centre de Recherches Internationales sur l'Imaginaire CRI2i (2015); coordenador do acervo do Atelier de Escultura e Pesquisa da Forma, Caetano Fraccaroli (desde junho de 2016). Desde 2008 coordena o projeto Arquigrafia (Programa eScience FAPESP), atualmente como Projeto Temático FAPESP Experiência Arquigrafia 4.0 (2022-2026).
