Retired as the division head of the Radiological Protection Division of Eletrobras Eletronuclear. Aposentado como chefe de divisão - Divisão de Proteção Radiológica da Eletrobras Eletronuclear. Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Nuclear desde 1992 e foi Responsável Técnico da Dosimetria da Eletrobrás Eletronuclear.Expert em Proteção Radiológica da World Association of Nuclear Operators - WANO - para a Missão Peer Review das centrais nucleares de ISAR (Alemanha, maio de 2003) e Tihange (Belgium, novembro de 2013).Expert em Proteção Radiológica da IAEA para a missão de segurança operacional - OSART das centrais nucleares: Seabrook (EUA, junho de 2011 e junho de 2013); Dampierre (França, setembro de 2015); Chashma (Paquistão, novembro de 2015 e dezembro de 2017). Presidente da Sociedade Brasileira de Proteção Radiológica - SBPR, para a gestão de 2016 a 2018 e 2019 a 2020.Consultor Cientifico da empresa RDC BRASIL - Empresa Brasileira de Detecção de Radiação LTDA desde julho de 2015 e atualmente.
