Weslei Estradiote Rodrigues

Doutor em Sociologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (PPGS-USP), Mestre em Antropologia Social (PPGAS-USP) e Bacharel em Ciências Sociais pela mesma instituição (FFLCH-USP). Pesquisador Visitante do Centro de Investigações e Estudos Sociais do Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (CIES-IUL) entre 2018 e 2019, e membro do Núcleo de Sociologia da Cultura da USP desde 2016, atualmente lido com nacionalismos e temas de Sociologia da Arte com um aporte histórico, comparativo e transnacional. Possuo, além disso, trabalhos nas áreas de Sociologia e Antropologia Urbana, Rural e dos Movimentos Migratórios.

Sociologist PhD at University of São Paulo (PPGS-USP), Master in Social Anthropology (PPGAS-USP) and Bachelor in Social Sciences at the same institution (FFLCH-USP). Visiting Researcher at the Center for Research and Social Studies of the University Institute of Lisbon (CIES-IUL) between 2018 and 2019, and member of the Nucleus of Sociology of Culture at USP since 2016, currently dealing with nationalisms and themes of Sociology of Art with a historical, comparative and transnational method. Also have relevant work in the areas of Rural Sociology, Urban Anthropology and Migratory Movements.
