She has expertise in Human Genetics and Oncology developing research projects oriented towards precision medicine.
Possui graduação em LICENCIATURA E BACHARELADO EM CIÊNCIAS BIOLÓGICAS pela Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto/USP (1982), mestrado em PÓS-GRADUAÇÃO EM GENÉTICA pela FACULDADE DE MEDICINA DE RIBEIRÃO PRETO - UNIVERSIDADE DE SÃO PAULO (1986) e doutorado em PÓS-GRADUAÇÃO EM GENÉTICA pela FACULDADE DE MEDICINA DE RIBEIRÃO PRETO - UNIVERSIDADE DE SÃO PAULO (1990). Pós doutorado pela University of Toronto - Canadá e Professor Titular na Faculdade de Medicina de Botucatu - UNESP. Atualmente é Professor at Clinical Genetics Department, Vejle Hospital, Institute of Regional Health Research, University of Southern Denmark. Tem experiência na área de Genética Humana e Cancer.
