Andre Stumpf

André Stumpf received a diploma in physical geography and geomatics at the Dresden University of Technology, Dresden, Germany in 2009. Currently he is working towards his PhD degree at the Laboratoire Image, Ville, Environnement at University of Strasbourg (France), where he also teaches MSc level courses in image processing, terrestrial photogrammetry and 3D geographic information systems. His PhD research is a joint research program between the Laboratoire Image, Ville, Environnement and the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), University of Twente, Enschede dedicated to the development of image analysis techniques for the mapping and monitoring of landslide with optical remote sensing data. His principal research interests and publications in leading international journals concern image processing, machine learning, geostatistics and geomorphological hazards.
