Profª Drª Liane Hentschke

Doutora em Educação Musical pela University of London, Inglaterra. Professora Titular aposentada e colaboradora no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Música/UFRGS. Pesquisadora Nível 1B do CNPq, foi coordenadora grupo de Pesquisa FAPROM (Formação e Atuação de Profissionais em Música), do PPG-Música. Foi Diretora de Cooperação Institucional do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico - CNPq (2013-2014). Na UFRGS, ocupou o cargo de Secretária de Relações Internacionais de 2008 a 2013. Diretora do Conselho de Gestores de Relações Internacionais da ANDIFES (2011 - 2012). Presidente da International Society for Music Education - ISME entre 2004 e 2010, e em 2020 recebeu a distinção de Membro Honorário da ISME. Foi membro do Conselho Diretor e Vice-Presidente do International Music Council - IMC, órgão assessor de música para a UNESCO (2007-2013). Possui pesquisas e publicações nas áreas de currículo e avaliação; educação musical formal e informal; formação inicial e continuada de professores de música; motivação para aprender e ensinar música. Ministrou palestras, conferências e publicou artigos científicos, capítulos de livros em diversos países incluindo, Brasil, Alemanha, Áustria, Austrália, Argentina, Chile, China, Espanha, Estados Unidos, Inglaterra, Holanda, Hong Kong, Tailândia e Venezuela. É autora e co-autora de 12 livros publicados no Brasil sobre Educação Musical. . No campo editorial nacional e internacional, atuou e tem atuado como membro editorial da Revista Eufonia (Espanha); Research Studies in Music Education (Inglaterra), British Journal of Music Education (Inglaterra).

Received the PhD in Music Education from the University of London, England, and carried out a post-doctoral studies at the same university. She is a full professor at the Arts Institute and Vice-Rector of International Affairs at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul-UFRGSin Porto Alegre,Brazil, and for one year she was a Director of the Council for International Affairs Office of the Federal Universities in Brazil.Professor Hentschke was Presidentof the International Society for Music Education-ISME and is currently vice-president of theInternational Music Council? IMC, advisory institution for music at UNESCO. During 2009-2010 she was a member of a UNESCO Committee to develop the Ten Millennium Goals for Arts Education in the World, to be distributed to all UNESCO member states. Currently she is a member of the steering committee of INRAE - International Network of Research in Arts Education. At UFRGS she is a CNPq Researcher Level 1 (Brazilian National Agency for Research and Development), and Chair of the Research Group FAPROM (Education and Professional Practice of Musicians and Music Teachers)of the Graduate Program in Music ? UFRGS. The Group works with research on motivation to learn and teach music and on digital technology applied to music education. Between 1995 and 2000 she was a member of the Advisory Board of Higher Education, at the Ministry of Education. Professor Hentschke is a MA and PhD supervisor and carried out lectures, conferences and published refereed articles, chapters of books in several countries, among them Austria, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, China, England, Germany, Taiwan, The Netherlands, Spain, USA, and Thailand. She is author and co-author of 12 books published in Brazil about musical education. On the Editorial level she was co-editor of the International Journal of Music Education ? IJME and is member of editorial boards of three international journals:British Journal of Music Education (England); Eufonia (Spain);Research Studies in Music Education (England). .
