José Geraldo Vidal Vieira

Jose Geraldo Vidal Vieira is Associate Professor of Logistics and Operations Management in the Department of Production Engineering at Federal University of Sao Carlos. He holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science (1997) at Federal University of Ouro Preto, MSc in Industrial Engineering at Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro, and Doctorate in Industrial Engineering (2006) at University of Sao Paulo (USP). His research interests are focused on the relationship among the supply chain partners; urban freight distribution and logistics problems in retail, CPG and Logistics Service Provider.

bachelor's at Bacharelado em Ciência da Computação from Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (1997), master's at Production Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2002) and doctorate at Production Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (2006). He is currently advisor in the ma program at Universidade de São Paulo. Has experience in Production Engineering, acting on the following subjects: Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis, gerenciamento da cadeia de suprimentos, urban logistics.
