Full Professor of the Josué de Castro Chair at the Faculty of Public Health at USP (September 2022/August 2024). Professor at the Department of Economics at FEA/USP for thirty years. Full Professor since 2001. Senior Professor of the Environmental Science Program at the Institute of Energy and Environment at USP (since 2016). Author of Infrastructure for the sustainable development of the Amazon (Ed. Elefante, 2022), Amazônia: For an economy based on the Knowledge of Nature (Elefante/Terceira Via/Outras Palavras, Far Beyond the Green Economy (Ed. Planeta Sustentável/April, São Paulo) , 2012), revised and published by Routledge (London) in 2016 under the title of Beyond the Green Economy.
