SILAS FRANCO DOS REIS ALVES

Bacharel em Sistemas de Informação pela UNESP de Bauru, onde desenvolveu projetos junto ao: Grupo de Integração de Sistemas e Dispositivos Inteligentes (GISDI) nas áreas de Automação e Controle e de Sistemas Colaborativos de Automação; Laboratório de Mídias Interativas (LabMII), desenvolvendo Objetos de Aprendizagem; e trabalha com Robôs Móveis Autônomos, Futebol de Robôs, Sistemas Embarcados e Objetos de Aprendizagem. Concluiu o mestrado em Engenharia Mecânica pela UNICAMP junto ao Laboratório de Automação Integrada e Robótica (LAIR). Concluiu o Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos - USP, junto ao Laboratório de Automação Inteligente de Processos e Sistemas (LAIPS). Atualmente está realizando pós-doutorado na Universidade de Toronto, Canadá.

Silas is a undergraduate Information System Bachelor from UNESP, Bauru. He worked at: GISDI (System and Smart Devices Integration Group), on Automation, Control and Collaborative Automation Systems; LabMII (Interactive Media Laboratory), with Learning Objects. He has experience with Autonomous Mobile Robots, Robot Soccer, Computer Vision, Embedded Systems and Learning Objects. He has Master Degree in Mechanical Engeneering by UNICAMP while working at LAIR (Integrated Automation and Robotics Laboratory). He has Doctoral Degree in Electrical Engineering by Engineering School of São Carlos - USP, at the Laboratory of Intelligent Automation of Processes and Systems (LAIPS). He is currently a Post-Doctoral fellow at the University of Toronto.
